MiniGoals Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MiniGoals mobile application ("MiniGoals," "the App," or "the Service"). By downloading, installing, or using MiniGoals, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Service Description

MiniGoals is a personal monthly challenge tracking tool. It helps you set goals, record journey progress, manage milestones, and create shareable achievement cards and reports. MiniGoals is intended for individual, personal use. It is not a project management platform, social network, team collaboration tool, or medical, fitness, legal, or financial advice service.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use MiniGoals. If you are using the App on behalf of a minor, you are responsible for their use and compliance with these Terms.

3. Your Content

You are solely responsible for the goals, notes, photos, voice recordings, cards, and other content you create or store in MiniGoals ("User Content"). You represent that you have the rights needed to create and store your User Content and that your User Content does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use MiniGoals for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the App
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or infringe the rights of others
• Misrepresent MiniGoals features or use the App in a way that could harm other users or us

5. Points and In-App Purchases

MiniGoals includes an optional consumable virtual currency called Points. Points can be used for certain advanced actions after free quotas are exhausted, including:

• Goal Entry — 10 Points
• Progress Update — 8 Points
• Milestone Pass — 15 Points (after 3 free milestones per goal)
• Achievement Card — 20 Points
• Monthly Report — 30 Points
• Annual Review Card — 45 Points

Free quotas currently include:

• 10 goal entries total
• 20 journey progress updates total
• 3 milestones per goal
• 1 achievement card trial
• 1 monthly report trial

Important purchase terms:

• Points packs are consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple.
• MiniGoals does not offer subscriptions.
• Points have no real-world cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred outside the App.
• Points are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Apple's App Store policies.
• We may adjust Points pricing, pack contents, action costs, or free quotas in future app versions. Changes apply prospectively.
• Deleting the App or losing your device may result in loss of locally stored Points balance and records unless restored from a device backup.

6. Apple App Store Terms

Your use of MiniGoals is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms, rules, and policies, including payment, refund, and device usage terms. Apple is not a party to these Terms except as applicable under Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement.

7. Privacy

Your use of MiniGoals is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled in the App. MiniGoals stores most user content locally on your device.

8. Intellectual Property

MiniGoals, including its design, branding, code, and original app content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App. You retain ownership of your User Content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

MiniGoals is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of MiniGoals. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for Points in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $10 if you made no purchases.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update MiniGoals or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using MiniGoals at any time by discontinuing use or uninstalling the App. We may suspend or discontinue the App or certain features if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
